As a stage set of everyday life, streets are key public spaces where social interactions take place in a city, reflecting urban life, urban character, and cultural identities through everyday spatial practices. The course provides an understanding of Bangkok urbanism, ways of life of the inhabitants, through the evolution of urban settlements and communities, an overview of Thai urbanism, and a study of everyday steetlife.
