The Science of Mindfulness: Meditation Practices in Chiang Mai’s Ancient Temples course is a brand new course based on a practical approach to mindfulness meditation through the instructor’s experiences from ancient temples in Chiang Mai. This course emphasizes the importance of encouraging students to practice mindfulness meditation and to develop mindfulness skills as well as discovering how to work with mind and how to integrate meditation into our daily life. Additionally, the course involves the explanation of scientific research studies on how meditation may be helpful for a variety of conditions, such as high blood pressure, certain psychological disorders, and pain and how it affects the brain.
